GYPSY/SPONGY MOTH CATERPILLAR

<<< TO SPRAY OR NOT TO SPRAY >>>

The damage, inconvenience and cost need to be
weighed against the potential for collateral damage
to native pollinator caterpillars. It's not a perfect science.

Consideration should be given to the recent variable;
the presence of the moth's natural controls. Both the
Gypsy Moth virus and fungus are now present
in our environment from Asia and Europe.
