 This website is an independent, volunteer effort to rescue and provide a
place for historical images of the White Lake Area and the stories about them.

If you have images of historical significance and would
like them scanned and included here, please see "PARTICIPATE".

 

 

The images contained within these pages are in digital form. For that reason their preservation will be possible through a variety of redundant digital forms, protected from the ravages of time and environmental extremes. Not being full resolution for printing, they are no substitute for their original form but are intended to be readily accessible for viewing by anyone interested in local history. In this way, if an original is lost, the history at least, will survive. The Montague Museum and private collections will continue to be where the original material can be found.
